Ok, maybe it's not related to the firewall. Please send me an email to info@clonesgame.com with your computer specs (hardware, OS, etc) and I can help you from there. Once it's resolved, we'll post the solution in the forums.

I am running Windows XP and my firewall is now turned off. The only security software I have installed onto my computer is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Please email me (info@clonesgame.com) the file:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Application Data\Clones\Cache\Log\Client.txt
and
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Application Data\Clones\Cache\Log\Server.txt

This will help me narrow down the problem.

For others who experience this problem, the solution involves changing the port number used internally by Clones because some other program is using it.

Here are the steps required to change it to another port number.

1. Start Clones
2. Click tournaments
3. Host Tournament
4. Change the port number from 9877 to 10877 (or some other random number between 9000 and 40000). Don't worry too much about the exact number, it just need to be a number that not in use. You can keep trying a different number until you find one that works. Most port numbers should be available, so your odds are good.
5. Click back to the Main Menu, then try the Pilgrimage again.

Clones will remember the port number, so you don't have to update it every time you start the game.

This bug will be fixed in the next patch.
