I noticed you mentioned a release for early feb? I just happened to stumble upon this website and it really looks like a game i would play/test. So any new news on a release? possibly summer 09?

Ya, we are a little bit behind schedule (but the game keeps getter better and better). It's hard to estimate the final release date We are currently working on getting a demo of the game available on the site for download.

We are focusing on multiplayer development currently and a playable demo can be expected in a month or two.

Hah, it's great that you're craving the cloning. We are still working on the playable demo, some of the networking code has taking longer than predicted but as soon as it's done (hopefully within a month) the demo will be made public. If you can't wait that long perhaps you'd like to help out by beta testing?
