Chat lobby for setting up multiplayer matches

One thing Tom pointed out that I had missed is that there is a guide in the dropdown menus
on this page that tells how to set up Pidgin (or Psi) and enter a Clones lobby for text chat.
This can be used to find others who want to play multiplayer.
It's pretty easy to set up and Pidgin also lets you monitor all of your chat clients with one
interface if you want, so as not to have too many programs running at once.
