Clones shut down

Every now and then, when playing clones, my computer unexpectedly shuts down. So far, this glitch only occurs online and during the level editor. This is extremely annoying as one time it happened during a five player match.

I don't know whether this is just my computer or a clones glitch. Please let me know if you have any ways I could fix this.

When you say "computer unexpectedly shut down", do you mean the game aborts but you're immediately back in Windows and can rerun the game again, or do you mean something more serious like it totally brought down Windows and have to be rebooted?

For the latter it is unfortunately likely "your computer", especially if you also see a "blue screen of death" shortly before the reboot. You could try getting an updated graphics card driver from Windows Update or graphics card manufacturer and see if it helps.

If it's the less severe Clones crashing, maybe rt can try to figure it out if you can provide him whatever he asks for.

The computer completely shuts off with no warning. Clones doesn't crash or anything, and there doesn't seem to be any reason why my computer shuts down.

When restarting windows, a 'Restart windows normally?' notice comes up, then loads back up as normal.

Does this only happen when you play Clones? Here are some possibilities:
- Failing motherboard, cuts power and system shuts down
- Failing power supply
- Bad RAM, Windows reboots
- Video card overheating, should happen on other games too
- Video card driver problem, Windows reboots

As CCX said, the first thing i would suggest is updating your video card driver (or installing an older more stable version). The next time the computer shuts down while you are playing Clones please reboot and send us the Client.txt and Server.txt from:
(Windows 7) C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Clones\Cache\Log\
(Windows XP) C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Clones\Cache\Log\
