Multiplayer Tips

Postby rt » Thu Jun 12, 2008 11:41 am

Being the #1 ranked CLONES player has many perks. Movie offers, marriage proposals, and (of course) my own brand of vegitable protein snack bars. Here are some tips to help you crush your oppoents during a fast paced multiplayer match:
- Always do 3 things (at least) at once: Make a path to the goal, sabotage all other players, and defend against attack. You must do these things ALL the time.
- Think at least 2 moves ahead
- Keep your clones spread out
- Bunch up other players clones
- Save a few clones to use during the endgame
- Remove oppoent dopple (blocking) clones right away
- Patience!

Good luck!

Wow.. a year later that advice is still teeming with freshitude! The fast pace of multiplayer may intimidate new players, but if you work through the singleplayer pilgrimage you will learn many of the skills you'll need to seize victory online.

Ha ha. Good advice, however he can be defeated but rarely. It's always more fun to play others at the same skill level. That's the idea behind the multiplayer ranking system, so you'll be able to find and play against others that are well matched. We still have to do more testing to make sure that the multiplayer ranking is properly working.
