Whoa, I'm getting excited. Seeing Clones up and running in Steam
is a great feeling. Steam Beta testing has begun for both the
demo and the full game and that is a cool, cool thing.

If you have a Steam account, by all means join the new
but quickly growing Official Clones Group asap.

I'm also pretty impressed with the way that Steam users and
non-Steam users can play together in multi-player. (Not
something I'm used to seeing) and equally impressed with
the ability for Clones demo users to play vs Clones full game users
online (albeit only for the demo maps), once again a feature
I personally haven't seen before.

I was impressed by this as well! The fact that I was able to play the demo with people who own the full game was really a nice touch! It allowed me to see far more of the game than I had expected, and this has definitely become a day 1 purchase for me

We put a lot of thought into making sure we didn't splinter the online community, either across the demo vs. full game, or across different distributors. It's nice to hear that it was noticed and appreciated
