Tournament hosting

For those who play less than 8 hours a day

Tournament hosting

Postby minimac » Sat Dec 18, 2010 12:47 am

Christmas is coming, and we are noticeably getting less and less people involved in playing clones tournaments, whether it's the demo or the full game and I think playing at a specific time of the day we might manage to make 8 players. :)

For a start. I'm planning to host a game at 16:00 UTC this Sunday (I think that's 11:00 in New York and 8:00 in LA).
I use function keys for each morph. It is much easier for me doing it this way.

This is a great idea. We were planning to arrange a "Clones Jam" where we would invite as many people as possible to host or join servers on a particular day. Perhaps weekly?

Weekly would be great, especially on weekends, where everyone gets a break from work. :)

I'll be able to join in on the fun at around 18:00 UTC. Eight players in a match would be awesome. I haven't yet played a game with 4 vs 4, but it would be neat to try it out.

Oh really. I only said 16:00 so that it didn't coincide with the NFL games if any of you watch that.
