I recently bought this game as part of a bundle the other day. The problem I am having is that I can't make it passed the login when the game starts up. I tried creating an account and it doesn't recognize it. I tried skipping the login all together and have had no luck. When I went to verify the files on Steam, it tried validating only 1 file, which it failed to validate. It said it would be reacquired, but nothing ever happened. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same result. Any ideas how to fix this?

What happens when you try to skip the optional login? Does the game just crash?
